Mark comes with great experience both in training and business management having worked in a variety of industries including mechanical engineering, IT, training and customer service. He is committed to the cause of people development and delivers programmes by the mantra “To create value through training and coaching”.  

 

Following Mark’s career as an engineer in a national iron and steel company he moved on to the IT industry working in sales management roles. Mark later joined Lenovo first working in brand marketing and channel management and later as an ERP&CRM Consultant providing consulting and training services for clients from the financial, manufacturing and retail industries. He then took the role of Senior Trainer and Training Manager at Genesis Education Group where he consulted with clients on their training needs and facilitated training programmes on leadership, communication, TTT and more. In 2007 Mark moved to FedEx Kinko as APAC Regional Leadership Training and Development Consultant designing and delivering leadership training programmes to managers from China, Japan, Korea and Australia. 

 

Since 2009 Mark has been working as an Independent Training Consultant developing and delivering various programmes on leadership and management topics, soft skills, team building, train the trainer and more. Some of his clients include Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Deloitte, IBM, The Boston Consulting Group, DHL and Vanke Real Estate. As a consultant and trainer, Mark believes that in class the participants are stars and the trainer’s role is to lead and support them. 

 

Mark obtained his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Beijing University of Science and Technology and an MBA focused on marketing from the Beijing Technology and Business University. He is a certified practitioner of Sales Performance Assessment (SPA™) and Leadership Effectiveness Analysis (LEA360™). He can deliver training programmes in Mandarin and English.
