Michael is an experienced and accomplished international sales professional with more than 20 years experience in the telecommunication, manufacturing and power industries.  He has a strong track record in delivering complex, value based sales and consultation led professional services from board level to grass root levels. He specialises in sales leadership, sales skills development and customer relationship management. His clients are MNCs in Asia Pacific, Europe and US. 

 

From success as a quota carrying sales person, through to leading global change initiatives in a multi-national technology company, Michael built his passion for sales management, methodology and CRM, by leading from the front. He started his career as a radio technician before moving into sales then management at RF Industries – a global technology solutions company. He then moved to Tait Radio Communication as a National Sales Manager and managed the Australia and New Zealand sales teams to achieve record sales by introducing the company’s largest ever contract at that time.  In 2010 he took up the Global Sales Development position and championed the Miller Heiman Strategic Selling, Conceptual Selling and Salesforce.com. During this time he facilitated training, coaching and sales conferences in Asia Pacific, Europe and the US for his company. Michael was the go to person for sales and sales effectiveness, supporting the senior executives with initiatives to move the company forward. He later returned as the Asia Pacific Sales Manager leading and managing the Asia Pacific sales team. 

 

After more than 20 years in sales, Michael became an independent consultant in 2013. Based in Brisbane, Michael continues to travel as he helps sales leaders get the results they want through the changes they need. He provides methods, tools and coaching for B2B and B2G sales teams who want to learn from best practice and grow by getting closer to their customers.
