Steven is a senior consultant, management trainer and coach with 20 years of experience in organisational change, executive development and marketing strategy. He has worked with a range of clients from global corporations in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, from global corporations in Financial Services, Infrastructure, Government, Telecoms, Media, Technology, Legal, Retail and Property he has worked extensively where he has a reputation as a dynamic and creative trainer.

Steven began his career in commercial marketing and brand strategy, holding roles such as regional marketing manager for The Economist before moving into change management, OD and leadership development where he has held directorships in various consultancies. As a senior consultant, Steven has conducted effective interventions ranging from leading a global programme resulting in the successful merger of two business units to facilitating leadership and team development programmes for the Hong Kong Police Force.

Steven’s expertise is in identifying how to enable change in the attitudes and behaviours that drive improvement in individual, team and organisational performance. In this context he has worked for numerous blue chip companies including Shell, MTR, Watsons, WKCDA, Grosvenor, Hogan Lovells, Mothercare, RBS, Vodafone, 3, Yahoo! and Tata Steel. 

Steven focuses on Leadership, Team Building, Presentation, Communication, Negotiation, Change Management and Sales and Marketing Skills programmes. He has trained many managers and coached / mentored many CEO’s and board members on managing change. Major coaching engagements have included: Coaching the CEO of an engineering consultancy on improving his leadership performance in order to double his business’ profit; Coaching joint-venture project directors and their teams to resolve differences preventing the delivery of a multi-billion dollar oil platform for Brunei Shell and WorleyParsons. 

Steven holds an MBA from London Business School, a Diploma in International Marketing from Insead and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. He is also a qualified 4-D Systems Team Development Trainer, a Myers Briggs Practitioner, a foundation-level psychotherapist and an accredited executive coach and facilitator of the UK government’s Training Development Agency. Steven gained his Cert IV Business Coaching Diploma in Australia.
