Mikio is an experienced consultant specialising in Executive Coaching and leadership development, career coaching, HR compensation design and organisational innovation in Japan. His focus is to coach executives to develop their capability in solving the issues associated with vision development, organisational transformation, people management, process management, and strategic planning.
With his business background, his strength is to support the executives to develop their leadership competency in line with business strategy planning and execution.
Mikio’s clients are senior executives, high caliber leaders and high-potentials who want to expand their skills, to remedy a significant leadership issue, or to accelerate their transition into a new role of expanded scope and complexity. Mikio has worked across a wide range of industries, including automotive, consumer products, financial services, heavy machine and engineering, health care and pharmaceuticals, semi-conductors, IT and telecommunications.
His corporate experience includes being Country Manager at Hewitt Japan and the HR Director for IBM Asia Pacific Software group to extend functional support to AP Software GM and regional managements in Japan, GCG, Korea, South Asia and ANZ.
Mikio has a BA degree in Business from Waseda University and a Post Graduate Diploma from IIST (Japan government institute) in International Business.
