Rong is a very experienced HR professional with more than 16 years talent leadership experience in leading multinational and major corporations, including DHL, Honeywell, GE and AXA. She has wide experience in Learning and Development, both as an internal and external senior consultant.  She is skilled in talent management, leadership development, coaching, assessment instruments and training.


Rong started her HR career with General Electric in 2004 as a HR Generalist where she was responsible for talent management and development. She later moved to DHL as the Head of Learning and Development and was responsible for four functional areas i.e. Learning, Development, Employee Engagement and Internal Communication for Great China. During this time she built the talent pipeline, and developed leadership programmes for different levels of leaders to support business growth. Later she joined Honeywell as the APAC Talent Management Director developing talent strategies for the Asia Pacific region. She was responsible for driving succession planning for top leadership team, evaluating top talents and facilitating career progression and development of key talents. She worked with global teams to develop and manage performance management processes, deliver coaching to facilitate development of executives of different business units and key talents of APAC, designed diversity strategies and culture change and facilitated leadership training.


Besides her rich corporate experience, Rong is a very accomplished MBTI trainer with a warm and interactive style.  Her own corporate experience in leading diverse teams, gives her great credibility when working with managers at all corporate levels, and across business sectors. Her areas of expertise includes  talent reviews and succession planning, leadership development, executive coaching, delivering coaching programmes, performance management, career planning and development, culture development and has worked with clients from aero, automation, special material, energy, supply chain, transportation, smart home and many more other industries.  


Rong holds a Master of World Literature degree from Shanghai Normal University, China. She is also a qualified trainer and practitioner for the following instruments and programmes:
